  • How long does a session last?

    Our standard sessions last 50 minutes each, be they in person or online. We offer longer sessions to suit client needs. Details can be found on our About Us page.

  • How long will therapy last?

    The duration of therapy varies depending on the nature and severity of the issues being addressed, as well as the goals of the individuals or couples involved. Some people may benefit from just a few sessions, while others may engage in therapy over a longer period of time.

  • I'm shy, what if I can't talk?

    While this is talking therapy, it may sometimes feel that there is nothing to discuss. Your therapist will work with you to discover the themes that are most important and your silence is an equally important part of the process so we welcome your commitment to your therapeutic journey.

  • What happens if I miss a session or need to cancel?

    We understand that life can throw us curve balls. If you need to cancel your session, please give us 48 hours where possible (by phone and email) so that we know you can’t attend. If you do have to cancel at the last minute you may incur the full session fee.
    Consistently missed appointments without suitable notification may result in cessation of therapy but your therapist will discuss this with you.

  • Can someone attend the session with me?

    Each session is confidential and, therefore we ask that you attend alone unless previously discussed and agreed with your therapist.
